Kick-Off MeetingTuesday, 9th October 2012 |
All partners of the consortium and EC scientific officer Maurizio Maggiore met in the EUCAR-Office in Brussels to have an internal Kick-Off Meeting. After a short welcome, all work package leaders presented the intended work to be conducted within the project. Exciting and interesting three years will follow.

Work package 1, Key accident scenarios involving SEVs, has been finished. Most relevant future accident analysis on pedestrian and occupant scenarios involving small electric vehicles (SEVs) in urban areas were identified. The results are content of deliverables D1.1 and D2.2. Downloads will be available under results, as soon as they are approved by the commission.

A workshop was held in Aachen to discuss results of work package 2 in order to define the best future test conditions to be used in further work packages in SafeEV. Some external experts were also invited to this workshop.

The first general assembly was held in Aachen on the next day of the workshop of work package 2. Besides reports and discussions on ongoing activities, the General assembly has confirmed the accession of Swerea Sicomp AB as additional partner.

Work package 2, Advanced test configurations and criteria for pedestrian and occupant safety in SEVs, has been finished. Test configuration and criteria for vulnerable road users and occupant protection assessment in accidents involving SEVs in urban areas were developed. Basis were the outcomes of work package 1 under consideration of Regulatory trends and new developments in the field of e.g. NCAP, as well as the assessment of pre-crash based injury reduction systems. The results are content of deliverable D2. Downloads will be available under results, as soon as they are approved by the commission.

MATISSE & SafeEV Final WorkshopFriday, 25th of September 2015 |
Together with the MATISSE consortium, SafeEV participants will present their research results during a full-day final workshop on 25 September 2015 in Aachen, Germany.
The 18 partners from 7 different countries involved in the two projects will demonstrate and communicate the projects outcome and would also like to discuss their findings and recommendations with relevant stakeholders, other research initiatives and interest groups.
